Mexican Hat Cactus Nursery

One of our customers shared with us the idea for this simple shade house that they put together. They use the vent from the dryer for supplemental heat.

The house is made of simple things laying around: 3/4 inch PVC pipe and fittings,  a few old plastic shelves, and some shade cloth.  The only thing purchased were some clamps to hold the cloth onto the PVC frame. The framework gets covered with plastic if it rains a lot. 

The house is used for small seedlings, cuttings, germinating seeds and for plants bought in the summer when they would get sun-burnt in the ground.  It is easily moved to the other side of the house when it gets hot in the summer and is easy to put up and tear down.
